i dont know if its relevant to how youd play the deck but commanders sent back to the command zone when their destroyed dont activate death triggers
the burn spells are more to kill creatures in general and tokens wipes , and to slow them done , commands hit the graveyard a brief second , same with tokens then fade

no if a commander is sent to the command zone it never enters the graveyard

y no earthquake!!??!?!?!?! can never go wrong with that board wipe. and to max ur use for rimescale just make it snow mountains, way better option really. i would also drop pretty much the other burn spells in here. they r good one on one but in edh not so much. try adding earthquake, flames wave, insurrection and my personal fav decree of annihilation >:Dyes decree does work, i use it in my karrthus commander, everyone hates it when i let that bomb hit >:Dhttp://cardgametalk.blogspot.com/
I threw in a couple burn spells for early game and dragonstorm maybe , maybe mana gyser sideboard if a big game, maybe take pyrostatic pillar out, made a few changes only have 2 snow covered mountains , so i threw in a evoling wilds
And the new fated card , all the people i play have plainswalker is why i choose that one, but i try the deck both ways and see, and if the burn spells do nothing , ill take them out and just have earthquake and swirling is good to but the rest, sideboard them..lol but thanks

it removes dragons from the game, but in the 99 good idea !, took out slumbering dragon for zilran

today , just got the right combination in a four player game, first turn mountain, sol ring out, next turn mountain and tharn dyamo , so third turn i pulled utavara and from there it took oof like no tomorow
