Interesting, in most near-death decks ive seen, they were much more expensive, however this one seems great, and not that expensive. Carnophage could be risky, but its a great t1 drop. Also maybe you can check my W/B life gain http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=307258

Hi dragon77, You asked me to take a look at your deck. One card that jumps to mind that might be very useful in this deck is Angel's Grace. You might add a few. The main difficulty in the deck is getting out Workship and Near Neath into play. A few Enlightened tutor or Academy Rector might be of help. Isochron Scepter + Angel's Grace or Silence or Orim's Chant or Holy Day might give you the needed defense you desire to set up your Near Death Experience combo. Angel's Grace Instant, W (1) Split second (As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't cast spells or activate abilities that aren't mana abilities.) You can't lose the game this turn and your opponents can't win the game this turn. Until end of turn, damage that would reduce your life total to less than 1 reduces it to 1 instead.

Since Alabaster Potion is here im assuming thus is casual and not modern. That said, why not just throw in Necropotence or Yawgmoths Bargain to drop your heath faster? Hope this idea helps. First time seeing Worship. For a sec I was like "Wait how do I kill him?". After searching online I found out that it doesn't do what I thought if first did lol.
worship is cool , there ways around every card ! but i built this cause i had most of the cards !
i actually like this deck, its a challenge and ur opponent wont have an idea on how ur going to win and u have it up ur sleeve the whole time and hit him with it and he has no idea, brilliant!!
I made some changes : - 3 Mutainic Growth - Pacifism x2 - Trespassing Souleater x2 Added 2 wall of blood 1 Silence 2 O. Ring 2 Journey to nowwhere and 1 plains

this deck is like walking a thin line of death lol but looks pretty fun. just got to hope they dont run a lot of enchantment destroyers

I think this is an interesting deck, however, one major fall back is that you leave yourself open to a lot of things. Soren's Thirst for example. Loss of life isn't counted as damage and thus can drop your life total to below 1. I would recommend Witchbane Orb. Give yourself hexproof.
I see what you are doing I don't know if i like it seems a little inconsistent and you kinda can't face burn or you will lose terribly.
I have some leyline of sanctity from white on a sideboard from another deck i could use those

I thing this deck woud work better if it was white and blue. Because that way you could use a bunch of control and draw to make it safe and faster.
I am going to try it this way if it doesn't work to well then blue white , i like black for the wall of blood so i will play it a few times and see.. Thanks Yeah like the leyline that gives flash and and yeah blue would work well too.

maybe add some deaths shadow in there. it can give you another way to win or at least another way to defend when your life gets low.
