I would remove 2 laboratory manics and 2 spellbooks and add 2 psychosis crawlers and some other drawing cards.
what should I use for early game defense do you know?

i would save add fog bank or Guard Gomazoa. should help get you to late game

Now you can change this into a mill deck as well! Just use legerdemain/juxtapose on jin-gitaxias, then you have one on your side, and they can't do squat! :)
