Deck Description

A deck of defenders. Need Suggestions on sideboard.

Edit: Side board added thanks to suggestions from PowerChao and D_ROC. Thank you guys for giving me ideas. Kazuul is in the sideboard for when I go against decks that rely on giant mobs of creatures to win. They either tap all lands so I don't get any tokens or I get a small army to counter attack with. Guard duty to prevent attacks and maybe change Kazuul into a defender so he can gain all the perks my defenders get. Lust for war to force attacks and damage the opponents. Kitesail to deal with flyers, just in case. And finaly soulbound guardians to create a defense against strong flyers.

Deck discussion for R/W Defender Deck

I really like this deck. As soon as a I saw the title I thought of Stalwart Shield Bearers and Ogre Sentry. And Perimeter Captain and Vent Sentinel really bring it home. Wise choice with the land amount, considering everything is so cheap.

But does Gideon Jura have a point as part of the theme of is just in cause he's powerful?

And Wall of Faith and Soulbound Guardians would go great in the sideboard, in my opinion.

Try comboing lightmine field or smite with gideons +2. Esspecialy if they are running mythic conscription... no exalted bonuses or double strike or aura. Or if they have a creature they don't want to attack with or tap.

A taunt or two would help to drive the opponent ot attack more often. Perhaps Incite.

On the whole good build.

Never was a fan of white, but this deck looks pretty sweet. I would definitely recommend squeezing lust for war into the main deck
