I'm having trouble placing priests of norn in this deck. Few ideas, though just that- your mana curve seems pretty set: Silence, Shattered angel, oblivion ring? All three limit/control their game.
actually the only reason i didnt put shattered angel is was because i just didnt feel like it with the chancellor already being in here. im not opposed to adding it. i think for now i will SB the stuff you listed just in case i decide to mod the deck later on
I feel like blind obidience and due respect are redundant. Maybe take one of them out and replace the other with phyrexian rebirth for more flavor? (for flavor obidience, for playability respect)
blind obediance is good for outright stall, plus the extort is kinda nice too. as for due respect, i can use it to make any land they play enter tapped. that can save me in the event they happen to get mana screwed early on
Ghostly prison? Kind of redundant with the annex, but it's a little cheaper to play. Some other ideas would be surgical extraction, Dismember, Loxodon Gatekeeper and/or Grand Abolisher?
im kinda trying to stick with predominately new mirrodin cards, otherwise some of those would definitely be in here. ghostly prison and annex are actually about the same cost if you are willing to pay the 4 life (which i am) to get it out for 3, plus while prison makes you pay 2, annex makes you pay 2 life which will cause them to really hurt unless they are playing lifegain or white. as for the 2 black cards, i considered tossing in other colors, but i just wanted to stick with norn and his posse. i already have a deck the uses most of the phyrexian mana cards anyways http://www.mtgvault.com/drakeraenes/decks/phyrexia-unleashed/
Both black cards have the pay 2 life symbol which is why I suggested them.
im very aware that they use phyrexian mana, but i dont feel that i need them in here

martial coup would hurt me more than help me so no dice. path to exile is ok, so i will SB it for now. as for the other 2, they are in there and im not taking either out

Nah norns annex is better. Makes you pay life as opposed to mana
the way I think of it is the sphere of safety MAKES them pay mana, as apse to them having the choice, besides, they have to pay more mana this way.
less flavorful, also paying life is better, like if they can't attack but have some impervious defense then its just a stalemate. You need your opponent to attack sometimes.
Stalemates are great for this deck because it allows me to get out norn and chancellor
And they can still pay mana regardless if it is phyrexian or not, so...
They can only pay mana if they are running white. I wouldnt run this against a white deck
