Deck Description

Standard-format Dimir-themed deck. It doesn't really center on one special trick, although it features a bunch of cipher spells - it has some milling, some unblockables, some bleeding and life gain, and even using their own cards against them.

Despite such a broad spectrum, the different tricks combined can prove to be devastating, since it will be hard for an opponent to handle each and every one.

How to Play

Obviously, the main trick to this deck is getting out Phantom Warrior and/or Deathcult Rogue, and then ciphering various spells onto them. Pretty standard Dimir tool.

The cipher spells in this deck include milling, drawing, token summoning, dealing damage to the opponent, and even returning your own cards from the graveyard. There's alternative choices in the sideboard depending on need.

Other than that, I have also included Gnawing Zombie and Tenacious Dead - so long as you have four mana free, this provides a never-ending source of slowly bleeding the enemy while gaining you life.
The Undercity Informer takes advantage of the same trick - when you have three mana free, you can heavily mill the opponent's library.
Both of those cards can benefit from Call of the Nightwing - on its own, it's not that powerful of a cipher, but when you need free creatures to cipher, it's not a bad option.

The Nightveil Specter is a useful trick, once you get him on the field - soon you'll be fielding the opponent's own spells against him. The only trick is that you need to grab some of his land to play them, unless you choose to trade something out for Realmwright.

Wight of Precinct Six and Consuming Aberration are both meant to take advantage of milling the opponent. The more cards in the enemy graveyard, the more powerful they get.
Admittedly, this deck may not have enough milling in it to really bring these two cards to their full potential, but they can prove to be quite powerful with the right cards.

Of course, the new M14 Jace is the best Planeswalker choice for this deck. Drawing and mass milling and mass drawing - all you could want.
