Deck Description

The purpose of this deck is to amass a swarm of tokens and shift their power-levels with Ghave through counters as needed.

Highly enjoyable and stands it's ground respectably against a multitude of decks.

Deck discussion for The Waste Management (Ghave)

Cheesy, but Grave Pact is absurd with Ghave. Glare of Subdual is potent with a swarm of tokens, too, as is Cathar's Crusade.

Putrefy is gonna have the same mana cost as Doom Blade, but it will also hit black creatures, and it will keep them from being regenerated.

I've been having some really tough deadlocks lately with this deck and getting some cards with which to break those crossed my mind. Pact, Subdual and Crusade all seem like the most wonderful of cures for that! Don't know if I should replace Doom Blade or just slap Putrefy beside it?

Thanks for the feedback!

I good friend of mine runs a Ghave token deck so I play against it weekly :)

Personally I'd run either Murder or Hero's Downfall over Doomblade if you decided to run both, but I see a lot of black and it would drive me nuts to be unable to use it on a black creature. If I was gonna pull a spot removal spell out it would probably be afterlife.

My friend runs Rootborn Defense to great effect, too. Worst case it's three mana for a populate, which isn't terrible if you're populating a big 3/3 beast or something. Best case it lets you laugh off someone else's Day of Judgement (or your own if you have enough mana to cast both).
