The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Still under construction, open to advice.

Please, use your imagination as some of the cards in this deck are from BFZ and not on mtgvault yet. This deck is meant to be played in BfZ standard and will evolve as more cards are spoiled.

Temple garden = canopy vista; bloodmoon = retreat to kazandu.

This idea here is pretty simple; use the +1/1 counters to move either up the line to the high sentinel, or the more obvious choice of making a giant hangarback//thopter army.

Harden scales should be pretty obvious with its synergy. Retreat to kazandu is something I am really excited for. It makes getting 'dead' land draws late game a lot of utility, the life gain is perfect for keeping pace with aggro decks.

The protection spells mainboard in an 8 set give a reasonable way to keep your value from disappearing completely from spot removal. Inspiring call also doubles as board sweeper defense and light draw engine. The only boardwipe I see giving this deck problems would be languish, which with buffs you should be able to evade. The hangarback walker also adds addional boardwipe insurance.
