Ramp mana with Avacyn's Pilgrim or Farseek or both, then bring out creatures and gain life! There is a subtle strategy to playing it correctly, but basically this deck is a very tough kill if you are running a creature deck, and if your emphasis is on noncreature spells you would still have to play right to beat it. A Tree of Redemption flicker with Trostani out gives you 13 life, Thragtusk 11 life and 2 creatures, Armada Wurm 10 Life and 2x fat tramplers. Acidic Slime can blow up lands or pesky enchantments. The application of mostly everything is obvious, basically just outweigh the opponent on the creature curve and gain enough life so that you don't even have to block.
