Just so you know, Elite Arcanist can only cast Instants. So your Elite Arcanist combos wouldn't work with your Sorceries unfortunately :(

I love mono green decks! and I absolutely LOVE giant beasts :D check out my beast deck for ideas:http://www.mtgvault.com/drkfire4/decks/my-dream-beast-deck/it plays very quickly with 2 cultivates, krosan tusker's cycle ability (find land AND draw!), and garruk's packleader for draw. I always have an overabundance of lands even with just 18 :Pdefinitely check out Krosan Warchief, Terra Stomper, and the new beast cards with "evolve" and "bloodrush." They're fun :D
nice deck! I threw together a mono white detain deck myself, but deconstructed it as it was wayyy too overpowered and my friends banned it haha!I like to use Master of Diversion. He doesn't have detain, but he can take care of those pesky 1/1's so your detain spells can hit your opponent's big guys :DAlso, Lyev Decree is just all around amazing for detain :D
this deck has INSANE potential! the only thing I would recommend is changing up the lands. I understand your logic of revealing a changeling (they're all types) so the lands don't enter the field tapped, but you only have 4 mana sources that give green mana and you need that to have some fun with your win condition (chameleon colossus' effect as much as possible and leave ten mana [4G, 6Colorless] for overwhelming stampede. as it is, you could only cast chameleon colossus' effect twice, play 2 overwhelming stampedes, or play one of each on a single turn. you will still crush anyone with just one coat of arms out, but it would be more fun with more green mana
