Barren Glory Deck a few friends of mine are building decks for fun....not serious, casual, randomness
The deck is based around the card Barren Glory. Combo:Barren Glory + Detention Sphere + Apocalypse = get out barren glory, then target it with detention sphere then case Apocalypse. Your next turn you winCards in Deck:1) Abomintion Angel can be another Detention Sphere if needed, although costly2) Akki Avalanchers + Akki Blizzard-Herder = Land sacing/aggro 3) Avatar of Discord = helps to clean out your hand, gives you another creature to attack withControl: 1) Path to Exile = creature removeale can be used on both yours or theirs2) Lightning Bolt = direct damage/creature control Others: 1) Renounce = another way to clear out your perms if you cant get the combo off.

I like it, but i think with the apocolypse in here that all the other discard is not really needed. Mainly avatar of discord.

Ya I was trying to get some creatures in there for a little aggro protection early game. I havent found anything yet I would throw in there, but it didnt seem like a bad card for the deck type. A few friends of mine decided to pick a random card and build a deck around it so this was what i came up with. Thanks for the kind words

This is an interesting take on a Barren Glory deck. You basically play Barren Glory, exile it with Detention Sphere or Abomination Angel then exile everything with Apocalypse or something similar. I made a Barren Glory Deck with Academy Rector. Academy Rector puts an enchantment from your deck into play when it dies. So I'd play him, then use Devastating Dreams (preferably) or Renounce with a Tireless Tribe out on the field to wipe the whole board. Also, you could run Oblivion Rings instead of Detention Spheres if you want. It targets only one thing instead of all cards named the same, but it costs 2W instead of 1BW. So its slightly easier to cast. Just a thought though.
