Deck Description

My take on modern miracles. While I know currently miracles will never make it to tier 1/2 in modern, I feel that the miracles mechanic is so fun.

I have everything laid out below:

Scry:
Crystal Ball - Since Top isn't modern legal, this is the closest thing in modern currently. Its pricey at 3 mana but a solid card for checking out the deck and setting up for a good miracle draw.

Sage of Epityr - cheap creature, gives you ability to stack the deck and setup for a miracle draw.

Thassa - great card, wont ever be a creature but in reality its only for the free scry each turn.

Halimar Depths - Land that lets you Scry.

Serum Visions - Lets you draw cards, and scry.

Condescend - a counter that lets you scry.

Draw Engines:
Telling Time - Good choice, lets you take 3 cards and move them around where you need them.

Think Twice - A draw and ability to look at the players hand.

Miracles:
Devastation Tide - solid board wipe, easy to cast on miracle draw or if for some reason you have it in your hand the hard cast isn't terrible mid/late game.

Entreat the Angels - Win con, great card. Always want to make sure that you set this up for the miracle draw especially late game.

Terminus - Everyones favorite miracles card, again another card that you want to setup to wipe the board.

Other Cards/Utility:
Noxious Revival - Great card to get miracles and other cards out of the graveyard into your hand to recycle.

Quicken - This card was interesting. Since its a group game there tends to be a lot of time between your next turn so this gives you a chance to mix it up and set yourself up for a miracle during their turn. Nothing like blasting a Terminus during their turn for 1 after setting it up and drawing into it. Or possibly bringing out your angels before their turn ends to set yourself up for a big swing on your next turn.

*****My sideboard is setup as a token backup, as this deck is primarily for group play so I will be able to swap cards in and out depending on how the games are going and such. I play a lot of group games (usually 4-6 people) so this deck is more setup for group play. I understand there might be some better options for a normal 1v1 type deck/tournament but I figured this would be an interesting look at the miracles type. *****
