I'm trying to make a control deck that has Kiora, the Crashing Wave as a win condition. The only problem is I don't really know much about Modern control decks and how to get them to work. I don't have a lot of money to buy all the good cards like Cryptic Command.
Don't let your opponent play anything important and for the things that do get past the counters use fog bank and Kiora, the Crashing Wave to stop them from killing you. Then win with Deep-Sea Kraken, Lorthos, the Tidemaker, or Kiora, the Crashing Wave's -5.
