Deck Description

The Eldrazi transcend the colors of Magic
See the modern-legal version of this deck here: http://www.mtgvault.com/duncant/decks/colorless-eldrazi-urzatron/

How to Play

It's simple.
* Get as many Locus lands out as quickly as possible, using Vesuva and Thespian's Stage to copy Cloudpost.
* Try to get Silent Arbiter out turn 3, so you don't get killed by a mob of creatures. (it also combos really well with Pathrazer of Ulamog) (this is a super high priority if you're facing Zombie Hunt, Splinter Twin, or similar)
* If your opponent has permanents out early that you can't deal with, hit them with All Is Dust.
* When you've got enough land (hopefully by turn 4), throw down the big Eldrazi and wreck 'em.

Sideboarding:
* When facing control, sideboard in Lightning Greaves (if they've got lots of removal) and Planar Portal (if they've got lots of hand destruction) for Everflowing Chalice and 3x Brittle Effigy. You can also swap Not of This World for All is Dust if they don't have troublesome permanents.
* When facing something with land removal or Blood Moon, sideboard in Quicksilver Amulet for Brittle Effigy.

Deck discussion for Colorless Eldrazi 16-post

I can't decide if Walking Atlas would be a good addition to this deck. Any opinions?

yea could always be a good option since you are quite using more your lands to produce your mana
but i dont know what should be replaced to put it in though otherwise i love the concept

Thanks! I've removed 2 Spawnsire of Ulamog (I never end up using eldrazi spawn tokens) and 2 Artisan of Kozilek (I pretty much always prefer Kozilek for 1 more or Ulamog's Crusher for 1 less)

keep the artisan the fact that they bring a creature back is good if you lost one before

Really? I've never been in a situation where I've got enough mana to cast Artisan and also had another Eldrazi in the graveyard. What do you suggest that I remove in favor of Artisan?

its a hard choice im thinking toward maybe 1-2 all is dust otherwise i dont know. (im starting to think that learning what to remove from a deck is the hardest thing in the whole game )XD

Yeah, that is a hard choice. All is Dust has saved my bacon so many times... It's great removal if you've got Eye of Ugin because then it only costs 5 and it even gets rid of indestructible and hexproof permanents. I think if I had to replace anything, I'd replace Walking Atlas. I don't get much play out of him.

I've discovered that this deck is really terrible against most control decks and some combo decks. I'd love suggestions on how to disrupt them without having to splash any colors!

mask of avacyn or wispersilk cloak could be a good option here but again WHAT TO REMOVE!

Hmm... I added Lightning Greaves to my sideboard. That's pretty much like Mask of Avacyn or Whispersilk Cloak, except cheaper. I don't ever target my creatures, so to me shroud is the same as hexproof. Removing stuff is so hard!

i like the wisper silk because of the unblockable but the greaves are a good option too

I've had it suggested that Wurmcoil Engine is a must-have for this deck. I'm not quite sure what it gets me that the Eldrazi don't, especially considering that Eye of Ugin and Eldrazi Temple work on them.

Also, are Chromatic Star, Chromatic Sphere, and Ancient Stirrings worth replacing something?

Also, also, Karn Liberated seems like he'd just get immediately destroyed, considering that I don't usually have creatures up until late game. (I also never got around to casting him in playtesting, so I don't know how effective he'd be)

Hey, awesome deck! I really dig it do you think you could check out a couple of my decks and give me some feedback? I'm relatively new to magic and would really appreciate it :D
