Main Deck (62 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I normally make legacy decks as to what's available to me. This is an attempt at something standard for potential competitive play. It's a pretty basic aggro. Recycling with a little mid game muscle.

Curious what you guys think, and if you have any tips and potential sideboard additions/ main deck revisions.

Thanks in advance!

How to Play

I was trying to keep it basic and simple. It's a fairly high tempo deck revolving around creature recycling via "Undying", Disentomb, and Ghouldraiser. Harvester of souls and Mikaeus providing a little bit of late game power.

As for sideboard, I was considering slotting in some creature destruction, life gain, or control elements.

I like those additions. Very nice to say the least. I also threw in Havengul Lich for a little bit more late game utility.

I would run 2 Endless Ranks and 2 Army of the Damned, also I would drop Havengul Lich and Harvester for additional land. Nothing slows down a high tempo deck like a bad mana draw...

Endless ranks seems really high cost for what it actually does. With a decent stockpile of zombies out by the time a first Army of the Damned comes out I should be pushing pretty decent output on it.

I agree otherwise though. Dropped the lich and added more lands. Lich was great and all, but it was a bit high cost.

I would drop the harvesters because they are expensive don't work as well here, and you need to get down to 60 cards (well should). I think you are in need of some kill cards. One of the best things going for black as a color is the kill, murder, tragic slip, bone splinters etc.

With the amount of islands you have in the deck your going to be kicking yourself in the ass constantly because it will severely screw your deck. I played U/B zombies back prior to the ravinca rotation so I know how it goes with dual lands. I would suck it up and buy 4 drowned catacombs, get 2-3 evolving wilds and 2 islands. More than that and the amount of blue your pulling isn't going to allow you to play geralf's messenger until way to late in the game. I use him in a R/B vampire/zombie deck and I only was running one mountain cause I'm short one blood crypt and that mountain alone screwed with my ability to play the messenger turn 3 or 4.
