Alliance of Polymorphs

Main Deck (64 cards)

Sideboard (13 cards)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I wanted to make a deck using mass polymorph and use some of the high cast creatures you normally don't see in decks. This is meant to be a fun casual deck and yes i know there are mind sculptors in this but there only use is to brainstorm your creatures back into your deck so when you cast mass polymorph they will come onto the field. I own all the cards that are listed that's why these made the cut while some probably better fitting cards didn't. This is a classic deck i play on Magic The Gathering Online.

*** Any suggestions you have for creatures i will add them to the side board, so you name a card ill add it. I wont add multiples though so once its in that's it.

How to Play

Basically Use your Alliance of Arms and Gather the Townfolk's to get ready for a mass polymorph unleashing a good lot of heavy hitters that'll make your opponent wet himself in fear.

Deck discussion for Alliance of Polymorphs

How about Emrakul the Aeons Torn thats played in alot of polymorph decks. Cool idea with the alliances.

I would maybe drop the planeswalkers to just 2 or find a way to increase to 4. I'd love to take him off your hands though haha.

On a side note, I'd add Iona, Shield of Emeria and/or Platinum Angel. While getting a lot of guys is great, it would be awesome to also find a way to stall your opponent from screwing things up. Also maybe add an elvish piper in there as well in case you lose out on all your combo cards. This way you can still send out your fatties for one mana.

Man, there are so many fun cards you could put in this deck.

it seems to me that you would need a more steady token output, also for early survival like say, Bitterblossom or Assemble the Legion, hell Awakening Zone would maybe let you hardcast some of those creatures ;)

Here is an example of a Polymorph deck I've had some tournament success with:
http://www.mtgvault.com/raginggoblin/decks/token-polymorph/

Now, this ^ is polymorph, not mass polymorph. But the principle is pretty much the same. You need to focus way more on token generation than you currently have, and you need to cut a lot of those creatures. If you really want mass, over normal polymorph, I'd say cut down to about 6-8 creatures, cause right now 16 is just so much overkill. Your opponent is likely to just scoop once you cast it anyway, you don't need to waste all those slots with unnecessary extra creatures.

Just think about which couple creatures you want that can just win you the game once you get them, and use those.
