Deck Description

After seeing Xathrid necromancer, I knew exactly what deck to put him in!

Tithe of Armies:

When I was running that deck, it worked wonderfully. As soon as it combo'd off, it couldn't be stopped, the shear attrition was too much.

This version proves to be even more devastating.

How to Play

This deck is all about cashing in armies for damage, then retrieving them. Essentially, you'll want blood artist out from the beginning.

By using conspiracy to turn your soldiers, into humans, you'll trigger the Necromancer. You'll lose all your 1/1's in exchange for 2/2's, that will debuff into 1/1's. Because of conspiracy, you'll be trading a bunch of 1/1 humans, for the same amount of 1/1 humans. Allowing you to combo off in the combat phase with maw of the obzedat, and trigger blood artist again, and get back the same amount of 1/1 humans. You'll never lose your humans. You'll never have more than you had to start, but you could conceivably buff and kill your opponent with blood artist and a swarm of 1/1s.

The other cards in the deck are used for sold support, and though you might not combo off, the deck works well and you'll be able to take game with or without blood artist, illness in the ranks, and assemble the legions. Add in conspiracy and Necromancer, you'll have game the turn you play them.

Deck discussion for Collecting the Tithe

The land is different in this one then in tithe of armies, because I had to pull some buddy lands for other decks. If you want, you could imagine it had the same mana base as tithe of armies seeing as it would only improve your plays.
