Deck Description

The Goal:

Huge monsters, with devastating enter the battle field effects.

The Means:

Somberwald sage, and Mwonvuli Beast tracker, to get exactly what you need when you need it.

The Fix:

Lets face it, its really hard to win when you flood your deck with huge monsters. They can be just to hard to bring out. However, by using the bant wolf run technique, and throwing in few restoration angels (which you need anyway) and thragtusk, you can hold off the defeat.

Side in for control if you want.

How to Play

The Cards:

Armada Wurm: A six cost that brings out two 5/5 with trample onto the battle field? With just seven mana, you can bring out three 5/5's all with trample. Hey, seven mana, that's about how much this deck can get out third turn!

Avacyn Pilgram: If you have some combo's in hand, or not, mana excel is really good beginning game.

Mvonuli Beast Tracker: Get's out exactly what you need when it enters the battlefield, cool huh? Keeps you from having to run 3+ of your heavy hitters.

Restoration Angel: The living embodiment of cloudshift, this Angel can save your stuff or put to work those beast for second etb.

Somberwald Sage: The core of this deck, keep her protected. In the original draft, that was all the cloudshift was intended for. After looking at some of the bigger green creatures, things began to go well together.

Soul of the Harvest: This guy is all about giving you that extra card. He gives everything else an extra enter the battlefield effect. Prime material for combos.

Sylvan Primordial: Pop a planeswalker, get back some o-ringed stuff, or just land burn. As an added bonus, extra mana! I don't see this being the best thing you can get with your first beast tracker, but it's not a bad card.

Thragtusk: Does work while it enters, does work while it leaves. You'll have to draw out this bad boy though, because beast tracker is only interested in the big game.

Detention Sphere: Oblivion ring +1, enough said.

Cloudshift: Should be reprinted with Restoration angel as its' art.

Sphinx's Revelation: Gets you off the draw, and stuff in hand.

Think Twice: Draw, and again, when you need it.

Farseek: Gets the stomping ground out, gets the combo started, what more can you want?

Supreme Verdict: For the bad days.

Deck discussion for Flicker The Beast

Quick fixes since I wont actually add them in;

Centaur Healer in place of the beast trackers, another armada wurm in place of the primordial. That or a bit of counters.

Why? Well, sure you can search for some stuff to play next turn, but he isn't going to actually help you. Hey look I got this creature in my hand guys! They counter it. They remove it. They laugh at you because the creature you searched up was a bad card.

Why not just run something that's meta instead? Centaur healer, welcome aboard. Armada Wurm, meet your twin brother.
