Deck Description

This is a mono white human and angel deck. This deck has is about supporting human soldiers with powerful aerial assault. On the plus side, all the creatures are chicks.

How to Play

This deck has the ability to bring out white human and soldier tokens relatively quickly and buff them up for one decisive hit. Or it can stall out for heavy fire power over the top. Usually your game will be one or the other, which makes this deck have two really distinctive personalities.

Your early game will be biased around life gain. How well the game goes for you is all about how you 'White Deck' your opponent with in the first few turns. Reserve your bonds of faith as a pacifism until the turn you strike for lethal. There are two units with hit the battlefield effects, Attendant Knight and Cathedral Sanctifier, which makes up a little under 10% of your deck. You can flicker these with either cloud shift or Restoration Angel. Next off be careful when you use your token cards, be patient and wait for the fateful hour mechanic if at all possible. This is when safe passage and awe strike become valuable. I will safe passage my self when my opponent declares all his attackers (as to keep him the most open) on the turn where my tokens have summoning sickness. Then swing for leathal by augmenting my creatures with intangible virtue or break of day. However, this is not a token deck, and you may not find yourself with any of your token outlet.

For these situations, you will be working with your angels. They are fine by them selves. Always look for ways to increase the life total, it creates the stall needed to play the angels. Herald of war reduces Human and Creature cost for every counter she has, you usually only need one. She will speed up the mid game easily. I usually play against player who favor huge monsters with behemoth sledges. This makes awe strike much more effective. If I find my self going against token spam, rain of blades is more effective. Angel Overseer becomes a crucial part of your offensive attack, and makes your humans a bigger target. Flicker them or buff them to prevent this. When you have only higher cost angels in your hand, safe passage takes on a new role, and can keep your opponents guessing before they swing.

Lastly, judgement day wouldn't be a bad addition. You could possibly replace the only intangible virtue with judgement day, but for either card to be effective you will need to run more than one. I am currently using other outs to judgment day, such as rain of blades, awe strike, and faith's shield.
