Deck Description

The Goal:

Out run aggro with control and removal

The Means:

Enchants, and Control oriented creatures

The Fix:

Sublime Angel with tokens to give this deck an insanely lethal kill range.

How to Play

The Cards:

Fiend Hunter: Fiend Hunter has a hidden combo with Cathars' crusade, and can make your creatures stupid strong. Yet even when he isn't looping through exiles, he locks down those battalions and prevents some major damage.

Giest of Saint Traft: Three cost hexproof that can do some major damage. They wont want to swing all out when he is on the field.

Guardian of the Gateless: This girl laughs at aggro, blocking an entire attack just by herself. She's a five cost, so she comes just in time, assuming you missed every other instance of control.

Sublime Archangel: Hmm.... Look at all those tokens, why not throw this girl in! Or two, or three. Why not they would all stack.

Assemble the Legion: Becomes a huge threat, and could out produce the aggro drops. If you are successful, and throw aggro into the long game, this will crush them.

Blind Obedience: Delays the threats by an entire turn. This throws the game into the long term almost immediately.

Cathar's Crusade: Combos with Assemble the legion and commander's authority, this makes your tokens huge.

Detention Sphere: Oblivion ring +1, nuff said.

Sphere of Safety: Once you get dug in for the late game, this will make sure those aggro players can't get passed. Remember, they wont be worrying about enchant removal.

Searing Spear: Spot check those battalions!

Pillar of (f)lame: At two mana, this is the best removal spell for going against aggro decks. Period.

Sphinx's Revelation: Draw, to cycle through the cards you don't need.

Supreme Verdict: Field wipe. Can never come at a bad time.

Deck discussion for Subdue

Hey, go look at the boros aggro deck build. See any fliers? No? Well that is what makes sublime archangel perfect for destroying boros aggro decks, assuming you can stall them out until you can buff her up.

Have any suggestions? Maybe for what to run on the side board? Post some comments, if they are good, you'll get rep!

Yay rep!

Since your deck is kinda aggro itself I can see why you wouldn't awnt Terminus but what about Mizzium Mortars? Doesn't hit your creatures and if you overload it thats 4 damage to your opponents side of the field. That wipes out a good amount of baddies in standard. The enchantments you run cost a good amount of mana and with 10 single removal spells it might be hard to hold off. Also you only have 2 board wipes but like I said, I can understand why. Thing I hate about Blind Obedience is it only stops things for that one turn but in some cases that one turn is all you need. Could you fit in Feeling of Dread at all?
