Deck Description

The Goal:
Punch them in the face. With your land.

The Means:
One cost 2/2's, Two cost 3/3's, Three cost 4/4's, and a Four cost 7/7's, Five cost 8/8's...

The Fix:
Make their mana hurt them, make your mana hurt them, and keep the ping for ones.

How to Play

After building and loving my mana flood deck, I really wanted to bring it into standard, but it was missing something. I had advent of the wurm in here, you know, seeing as wurms come from the ground, but... it didn't seem right. Now with that single addition of awaken the ancient, it seems right. Oh so right. SO here it is, I am going to kill you with land, all over again, and in standard format!

The Cards!

Cluestones: Mana fixing now, draw later. Why not? Seeing as special dual lands are a no go in this deck.

Skarrg Guildmage: MY favorite gruul card, burn ghor clan rampager, he needs something on the field to work. This guy? Oh he just picks up the ground he walks on and throws it at you.

Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage: My favorite guildmage. She is a bit shy though. She'll come around later and start protecting herself, (and you) with some hefty tokens.

Zhur-taa Druid: Tap deal damage, and get mana for it? He works well for this deck.

Burning Earth: Shock lands? Well, I just turned them into pain lands. This will stop them from casting.

Security Blockade: Stop some damage, get a 2/2 vigilant when it enters. Then populate that vigilant. Not quite that good, but it's your land doing this. Better then sitting untapped.

Sphere of saftey: With all the enchants, why not include this?

Awaken the Ancient: The deck moves aside mountains, and reveals who built them. Hmm... Yeah, a 7/7 haste? I'll punch you with that any day.

Verdant Heaven: Need some blue? Grab some, but don't forget to double up that mana!

Hydroform: A bit more powerful then a supersoaker.

Thunderous Wrath: Quick five damage punch.

Bonfire of the Damned: Burning Earth, burning Creatures. Clear the field and punish them for it!

Lay of the Land: Pay green, grab red or white. Definitely nice. For one? Can't complain.

Deck discussion for Terrafrom

I love swinging with my land, something about it seems so unusual. The thing is, you have to be careful, they don't usually stick around. A 7/7 giant is perfect removal fodder, and everything else is just until end of turn. So keep some mana open for some blockers. More safety sphere and more bonfires depending on what decks you like to play, will help you against those creatures. Check it, that last sentence, although arranged oddly, is grammatically correct! Look at that, I am talking like yoda.
