This deck likes mana. Lots of it. Once you have enough, go ahead and clan defiance for game, if exponential population does not seem to do it for you. The 'ideal' situation:In my current bant deck I populate thragtusk tokens. One or two thragtusk a turn, with master biomancer on the field and Trostani, Selesyna's Voice make for one awesome game. I can usually do this against an aggro deck pretty quickly, especially if I can turn three biomancer, or turn five trostani. Removal makes it a bit more tricky. Seeing as it works so well, I found another five cost that would make token spam just a bit more... broken. When you drop the first Zhur-Taa, it lets you drop progenitor mimic for three. Assuming you have a chromatic lantern, you can produce double rainbow mana!DOUBLE RAINBOW MANA ALL THE WAY!So using vitu-ghazi second ability, you can tap two, make four mana, and make yet another token. Then when you tap again, it'd make three mana, and so on and so fourth for each zhur-taa token. Pretty simple right?Use that mana to burn your opponent and you're home free! Or drop a Skarrg and give them trample...Either work! Counter spells and some charms help out too!
