While grisel is nice I still prefer jin gixatis or whatever his name is. Its the blue praetor. Love drawing seven and making my opponent have no hand. Still a nice deck though.

Nice deck, good idea. I use to have a legacy deck that uses phryexian dreadnoughts with torpor orb. Funny too see a 12/12 on turn 2.....lol

Flashfire is less mana costs though if I remember correctly

Red has flashfire or something of that name which destroys all plains. Not sure what else is out there.

Board wipe, damnation is good but expensive card, blacks version of wrath of god. Black sun zenith is nice since it shuffles into your own library. Both cards have their uses. I sometimes run with damnation in my reanimator deck since I can almost always recover faster than my opponents. Plague winds is awesome since it targets all opponent creatures, but the casting costs is very high. You could sideboard color specific board wipes like perish if u are against a green deck. Destroying all green creatures for very little mana is nice.

I wouldn't worry bout bolts too much, I prefer doom blades and terminates since they kill most anything as oppose to bolt spells. Bolts are faster but late in a game they lack efficiency at removing more powerful creatures. Best used late for finishing off opponents with low hps in my opinion.

Besides the only creatures I know of with more than 13 toughness which doom blade doesn't work on is emarkul. Artifact creatures can be dealt with other spells if needed.

id trade wrecking ball, by the time u can cast wrecking ball your opponent will probably have 2 to 3 lands if not more. With 4 mana you could cast looting twice, once for 1 mana and again for flashback costs. That's 4 cards extra uare drawing. You don't really need the wrcking ball for creature removal as the rest of the sorcerys you have are sufficient. Id trade tragic slip for something else. If playing non black decks doom blade suffices. Don't really need to worry bout giving most creatures minus 13, when doom blade works on most creatures.

Might consider adding a rune scarred demon or 2. Being able to search for any card is nice. When runing red I like to use faithless looting to get through the library quicker.

I splash red for the terminates since I can target any creature instead of artifacts. I run 4 iona and 4 sheodred because that almost guranteesz one of them in my starting hand. First hand if you have a reanimate and iona, don't play anything and you can bury her at the end of 1st turn cuz you'll have too many cards. Reanimatd her on turn 2 and your good with only 1 land out. Against decks that run lots of dooom blades and such, ill swap it that betrays for slagwurms and leviathans since they can't be targeted directly. I use ingot chewers for heavy artifact decks since u c,an convoke for 1 red mana and they also have flashback. Obliterators are just evil because they are extremely easy to get out. Faithlessz looting I use for card drawing and discarding. Works nice if u got 2 cards in your hand u want to bury

I run a vey similar deck but insteaad of emarkul, I like to run it that betrays because they can be buried and exhumed. Let's face it getting one of those out is much easier than emarkul. I also like he fact that whatever your opponent sacs comes under your control. Nothing better than swinging for 11 pts of damage and taking control of their stuff. Only weakness is it that it betrays is vulnerable to all the spells like doom blade and such. Also, I run terminte instead of go for the throat as there is a large group of us, about 25 or so that play legacy as we have been playing for a long time. If u like check out my animator deck. Its geared towards legacy. The sideboard needs work though.
