Deck Description

I feel like green is in a great position right now with Innistrad coming in and is probably one of the most underated colors right now. Red provides a nice splash, mainly through Kessig Wolf Run and Ancient Grudge in the SB. For those who don't know me, this is guite crazy as I'm really typically a blue control player and as opposed to red as one can generally be. Any questions? Just ask.:)
Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Deck discussion for rG Standard Crusher

Very rough sketch right now - especially the sideboard. Any ideas?

seems like a really cool deck idea. I'd suggest cutting the Ghost Quarters. If you're not control, then I don't think it's worth it to risk your own manabase to try to cut down the opponents manabase. I'd trade a SoWaP for a SoFaF. Maybe try to mainboard an Ancient Grudge or two cuz swords are gonna be nasty in the post rotation. I really like the deck idea.

Yeah, the Ghost Quarters are probably quite bad, but I just wanted to try it out right away. It could be handy if some of the non-basics start proving better than expected, though I kinda doubt it. Idk about maindeck Grudges just because I do have Acidic Slimes which are at least always an out to artifacts. As for SoWaP, it's another card to test. I'm thinking I'll keep it as a one-of for now, but it may very well be right to swap swords.
Anything you feel I'm missing? I know there should be something more here, but idk what. I think I need to work on the curve issues, too.:/

I'm keeping 1 Ghost Quarter for testing and because it can be easily fetched up with Primeval, btw. I may eventually cut it, too, though.

I like the overall idea for the deck, but I do have a few concerns. For one, there is almost no justified reason to run 4 of the same 'walker. 3 at max is the way to go. The other thing that concerns me is the 'splash'. As good as he can be, I think you're mostly screwing yourself with adding red JUST for a single Inferno...

Ghost Quarter is an awesome card, and depending on how much the changing meta uses nons, it could easily ruin someone's game.

Actually, the biggest reason for the "splash" is Kessig Wolf Run and sideboarded Ancient Grudges. Inferno Titan is just the gravy that comes with. Mostly I've just got this idea of abusing Kessig Wolf Run with Primeval Titan. It just seems sick. Garruk is a 4-of right now because often he'll come in and die with the -3 ability anyway. Other times, if he's sticking around in play, he's probably doing so much work it doesn't matter if I draw another. At least that's the theory. Kinda like Jace was. I think Garruk has that potential and the only thing holding him back is his rough casting cost. However, I could be totally wrong here so that is something definitely worth noting. I'll keep an eye on that and figure out what the right number is.
Thanks for the advice, though. I may try making a mono-green build which would better utilize some cards like allowing for Dungrove Elder. Of course, UG is always one of my favorites, too... haha

Don't forget U/G with Splinterfright out can do dirty...dirty things =]

Oh for sure! Haha. I love some of the new green cards Innistrad has brought. Many even just for more casual decks (Parallel Lives is amazing for some commander decks!). Splinterfright seems fun. I'll look into that.

Could use a tighter focus.... Tribal doesn't always work, but there doesn't seem to be a common goal for the deck. The war+Peace should be switched out, maybe for B&M for the wolves. The acidic slimes could be replaced, consider running better mana-cost ratio cards, like Goblin guide instead.

This deck is meant to stay standard and there is no tribal theme. For both of these reasons, Goblin Guide just isn't right in this deck. Despite that, it's also a really small red splash.
Acidic Slime is actually just like amazing against soo many decks as it always has relevant targets to take out and is a deathtouch creature left behind.

However, B&M is a nice suggestion and I'll really consider that. The problem I find with it, though, is that it's best against other aggro decks - the decks where War&Peace is better still against due to it's color protections. Also, milling 10 against a lot of the new control decks almost just works to draw them cards as they can gain flashback targets as well as providing potential reanimation targets as well.:/ If some Blue/Green decks that don't run much flashback show up, it could be a much better option. Thanks for the ideas.

I apologize for this beginner comment, but don't you think this is a little expensive?
$286+, averaging each card to be worth $4.76... I understand that it's probably amazing... it's just... way too expensive.

Maybe taking out one/two of the Garruks, the whole red splash (split lands are a killer on the wallet) and I think a $200 is a slight bit more reasonable.
