Deck Description

The way I play I don't like self-milling. It causes a deep irritation to watch good plays die but milling other people is the only thing that I like about a blue series. Jace, Memory Adept, in my opinion, is one of the only good planeswalkers for this purpose so I thought it would be smart to see if I could wrap a deck around him and his abilities.

How to Play

Constant mill. no mercy.

Deck discussion for Mill from Hell

Instead of having just Islands, you should maybe include all Island including fetchlands to thin the deck out and make sure the cards you are drawing are going to have an affect rather than just lands. Other than that pretty good mill deck. Check out my mill deck please and see what you think

Maybe try including Clockspinning as well to pump Jace up while still using his 0 ability and for Grindclock, Chancellor of spires is only really serving a starting hand purpose since his high mana cost, maybe cut 2 of them and 2 sleeps and slip 4x Clockspinning

I only thought of including sleep because of the defense negation allowing you to plow through and speed up the process of the game.
Clockspinning is an amzing idea. I forgot about that card. what are you implying by fetch lands?? like Evolving wilds??

fetchlands are things like misty rainforest. also, deleting my comment because you straight up copied someone elses work is pretty childish

Well you can use the Zendikar/Khans of Tarkir (Onslaught are not modern legal) fetchlands such as misty rainforest etc which basically allows you to bring a Island into play ready to use. So you take two cards out of your deck meaning you are more likely to draw a card that'll help you win....hopefully

the onslaught fetchs will be legal once khans is out since they have been reprinted, even if they are the originals

drakeraenes is right, I forgot some people like to use the older cards. Personally I only play modern border in my modern decks but all down to preference, just a bit OCD I guess. Either way you'll be spending $20 a land or more per card

sadly yes, you will. im looking forward to the block, but im more looking forward to the second set in it. extremely likely that we will get one, if not two extremely powerful new PWs, one of which may be a new (gasp) nicol bolas. personally though, im hoping for ugin

Yeah Forged will be a strong set, the whole block will be. Hopefully Ugin will be a planeswalker. Khans will be fun, I'm looking forward to pre-release....Mardu for the win! As for planewalkers, Commander 14 will be better I think, a PW for each colour!! Depends what format you prefer to play, but strong cards are just nice to look at!
