Deck Description

This deck focuses on unblockability, creature deprivation, and bounce. Shiruken and Prodigal sorcerer form a damage base for when you cannot attack, as well as kill the opponent's creatures that Throat slitter cannot. Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar is here as a blocker and to help you draw the creature you need. Kira, Great Glass-Spinner is here to prevent your ninjas from being easily picked off by burn spells and abilities. Genju of the Falls can probably be replaced by another Phage or something else that the deck needs, but it provides a cheap 3/2 with flying in case you can't get other creatures past the opponent's defenses. Mistblade Shinobi and Echoing Truth in conjunction of counterspell deny the opponent of creatures / permanents and clear the board for your other ninjas and Phage. Crafty Pathmage offers a non-mana based unblockability while Minamo Sightbender offers unblockability to stronger creatures. Veil of secracy also can protect your creatures or sneak in a quick hit with a Mistblade or Ink-Eyes. Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker is to make sure that the ninjas just don't stop coming back.
Overall, get in a hand quickly, stop your opponent from playing and maintaining creatures, and whittle them down either slowly with Mistblade Shinobi and Higure, or bring out Phage and finish the game.
