It builds up a lot of mana with Solemn Simulacra and Expedition Map, and mostly keeps it free to play around with. Free affinity creatures, Equilibrium, Shards, and Duplicant synergise for creature control. Broodstars and Enforcers for the kill across an empty battlefield, with Fireball as a nice backup kill or creature removal.Red can easily be dropped for a different splash. Mostly the Great Furnaces are there just because they're 2x the affinity mana compared to an island, and there's a 4x limit on Seats of the Synod and Darksteel Citadels. Splash whatever you like!
