Deck discussion for This has gotta hurt

umm... coat of arms affects your opponets creatures also, i don't think this would be as powerful as you think. with only 4 basic lands of each type in your deck and only 20 lands you would have a 33% chance of having a land card in your hand. then you would only have a 6% chance of it being the type of land you would need. it would be easier to add Mirror Entity and a bunch of mana ramp, token creatures and go from there. also if you are running 5 color, try Prismatic Omen. Armillary Sphere, the Panorama's, Terramorphic Expanse, Rampant Growth, Farhaven Elf, and Civic Wayfinder are all good ways to get the lands you need in play quickly.

also per the Gatherer Card Rulings on Coat of arms: "If you have a creature with more than one creature type, and another creature matches more than one creature type, you only count that creature once. You do not double count it because it has a double match."

Yea dude, xaltedone is correct. They may be all creature types, but it only counts for 1. And since they are all creature types, it'll help your opponent more too.

NIce thinking though!
