While non exalted cards such as Stoic Angel and Empyrial Archangel help you and protect you, Rafiq, possibly aided by other Exalted creatures and a Distortion Strike can have a devastating effect. It is always caution to see when it's safe to attack with one or with more creatures, but with aiding spells such as Hindering Light and Bant Charm, as well as the powerful Silence, you can get an opponent to lose a blocker or counter a spell that might twist your arm otherwise.
