Deck Description

Human Aggro deck for standard.

MIrran Crusader is the key to this deck since he benefits from the +1/+1 counters the most with his double strike. Criticism is welcome as well as suggestions for sideboard cards

Deck discussion for W/G Humans

I like your mind set with the deck, But some constructive advice?
when you use proliferation your trying to Prolong the game... I would take tezzeret's gambit out. would you like to give your opponent the advantage of sweeping you if all your creatures can do is Proliferation twice? I seems more right to put 2 more naturalize inside your deck for those nasty enchantments or artifacts like Wurmcoil or batterskull that everyone needs to put in there deck these days. mess people up by getting rid of there monsters before you worry about trying to buff out your creatures. say you were in States, or PTQ. people will have if there playing white Day of Judgement. If you were to play me and you started and first turn you played Elite Vanguard *which i would play 3 or 4 in your deck* I would know instantly your playing a white or white/Green Humans. It gets to turn 3 where you played last turn Rampant Growth I would know to hold off on my Doom Blade or even Mana Leak or if i was playing an infect deck Corrupted resolve *i would have poisoned you with Glistener elf 2nd turn if i went first* i would know you were playing Hero of Blade-hold. one of the 2 or 3 ways you want to win. well your now at a 66% chance of winning at that point odds of you winning is getting slimmer.

what i'm trying to say is keep your opponent down for the count. especially if you want to make a humans deck. they are very tricky. try having it so they buff themselves. get the Mayor or others that i can not think of right now to help each other out. isn't that what humans do? try not to rely on tezzeret's gambit or your champion to rank up. like i said if you were going to rank up your Champ of Parish, I would let you get 3 or 4 counters on him before i say "oops here;s a Doom Blade.... oh you counter? OK, here, DOJ. " just saying. i let my opponents think they got me. :)

only some constructive criticism

I see what you mean about Tezzeret's Gambit. I was thinking about it for a late game card draw and the Proliferate was a bit of a bonus in my eyes, especially since it's twice as valuable with Mirran Crasader. But replacing it with another naturalize to get rid nasty artifacts (especially something like wurmcoil) seems like a waste. I'd rather add in another O-ring. Definitely going to sideboard some naturalizes though.

One thing I cant argue, and i was trying find a way around is playing whites decks that have DoJ. It seems like that's really the biggest weakness in all human decks at the moment. The best solution I could find to that was Angelic Overseer.

I actually play humans as well
And the concept of the human aggro decks is having everyone as a threat. Try not to concentrate on mirran, especially against burn decks, 2 damage is simple for anyone with shock or arc trail.

I agree about taking out tezzeret's gambit, because its good to draw, but if it is an aggro deck, the late game shouldnt worry you as much, in terms of removal, its either o-ring or a very good card in the form of Fiend Hunter, is both removal and creature, plus it helps against wurm coil.

One way that humans can counter doj is either playing blue for counter spells or playing doomed traveler, you still get value if they die plus evasion.

Hope it helps

Took out the swords, since i don't have a lot of evasion. Added Gideon and batterskull, to help against DoJ. Just started making my sideboard so any direction is welcome.
