Good idea with the elvish piper qand darksteel, but if you could actually somehow put darksteel into your hand with elvish piper you are golden.

I like this deck alot...using Piper to get out crazy big creatures sounds like fun. Here are my suggestions: Add 1 more Piper and 3 more Darksteel to really maximize the combo. Take out the Master of the Wild Hunt (it doesn't really fit the theme even though it is an awesome card) and replace them with more big nasty creatures. Add some spells that give your creatures trample (besides Garruk's ability in case you don't get him out) so that you can always do lots of damage.

BTW, even though Protean Hydra won't work with Piper, it still might be a good idea to keep it around in case your piper/big creature combo isn't working.

Every time I've tried to use elvish piper it gets zapped immediately. I don't know if this is a problem for you, but you might want to consider giving it some kind of protection against lightning bolt or doom blade.

I was thinking a whispersilk cloak? Once you have a darksteel colossus out you can move the cloak over for a quick 11 damage.

Also there's a zendikar card, beasthunt, that belongs in this deck. I know it's not m10, but you want it.

don't use wispersilk... the mana cost is to high to play and equip.. use things like vines of vastwood to protect your pipers and also add in some summoning traps so if they do counter your elvish piper it wont be a complete waste and you'll be able to play a creature card out.
