How to Play

Threaten opposing creatures, swing for big damage, then sacrifice them before the opponent gets them back! Many cards in the deck are to this end; basically anything that's a variant on Act of Treason or has the words "Sacrifice a creature" as part of the casting cost or an ability was put in for that reason. As for the rest...

Deathrender is an all around solid card, can buff the creature I just stole for extra damage, then when it gets sacrificed I can sub in one of my own instead. Alternatively put it on a goblin token or something, then sacrifice during opponent's turn for instant-speed creatures from hand, or even get around summoning sickness by doing that at end of opponent's turn.

Bazaar Trader and Conjurer's Closet are quite different cards but do the same thing; make Act of Treason permanent. Tap Bazaar Trader, targeting the freshly stolen permanent and target player (yourself) to make the control permanent. Conjurer's Closet flickers a creature in my end step, giving it to me forever.

Conquering Manticore and Zealous Conscripts steal cards (notably Zealous Conscripts can steal permanents, not just creatures). Most of the other creatures have not-so-much to do with sacrifices or stealing themselves. Notable cases are Heartless Hidetsugu (bring from hand with Deathrender at end of opponent's turn, can't be countered, no time to react before I get to tap him), Lyzolda, the Blood Witch (very similar to Tymaret but with potential card draw, more useful for sacrificing my own creatures though because I know what colours they'll be) and Pitchburn Devils (I can set off the death effect myself very easily if I need to).

Dark Prophecy will obviously activate a lot due to all the sacrifice. This being EDH unless I get a bit overzealous with Heartless Hidetsugu lifeloss shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Goblin Assault provides an alternate set of tokens to sacrifice if the steal-cards run slim, as well as a lot of chump blockers.

Furnace Celebration lets me tack on 2 more damage for 2 every time I sacrifice a creature for any reason. Worth noting that I sacrifice creatures whenever I get hit with removal too. That's kickass.

Rescue from the Underworld is notable as it's the third way I can keep a creature permanently.

Board clears deal 2 or 3 damage, or Consume the Meek gets rid of small creatures, hopefully to clear out the chump blockers so I can swing with opponent's big creatures.
