Hey the name fits the deck haha! (I feel dumb for having just thought o that!) Anyway I just wanted to say that I like this deck a lot and you did a good job building it! Also when I made my kraken deck I used green and black as well because I do matches with about six people and I don't do mono colored decks very well! I don't know how you would feel about putting in some propagandas but that has saved my in-game life so many times you should at least consider it for a sideboard. I also find that our choice of deck themes are rather interesting. When we both do a deck I will normally find something I forgot or didn't even think to put in so keep up the good work for both our deck's sakes! lol

I was actually considering splashing a little green myself. Rumors flying around that Kiora Atua is gonna be a new planeswalker. Apparently she summons Leviathans and is green blue. But thanks for the suggestion as well!

I heard about her as well! One of the reasons I finally built this deck!

Really love Quest of Ula's Temple decks. It's just fun to surprise your opponent with an always-underestimated Kraken, Octopus, or Leviathan. Wise choice of Cards btw. I wanna' see this on frontpage! Keep it up~

Thanks! made it a while ago, but hey! I'd love to see it on the front page too. And yeah it's always a surprise, there were so many good cards in WW that got lost in the shadow of Jace the mind sculptor.

You need to find a way to easily tutor the enchantment btw. Like Dizzy Spell's transmute? Maybe a couple of it. It's really hard to balance the number of creatures and the number of search spells here. And btw, I think Serum Vision or Brainstorm is a lot better than ponder here. Thanks~

I'll look into the tutors for the enchantment, and i agree w/ the replacement of ponder. haha it's just that it's all I had when i first made the deck. I've got plenty of brainstorms now though!

I like this! But you need some defense like Fog Bank, etc here. You might get hit by pesky aggros.

Gomazao, Guard Gomazoa and such.

Even if Fog Bank, Gomazoa, and Guard Gomazoa doesn't fall on the Creature type that Quest of Ula's Temple benefit, it's still gives a good defense.

I agree, it could use some defense, especially early on. I used to run Kraken hatchling just to stay w/ the theme of the deck. But i'll definitely think on the (Guard) Gomazao. Thanks :)

Good call on Thrumming Bird, it can both interact with Aether Vial and Quest of Ula. Not so sure about Lighthouse Chronologist though.

I usually play this deck w/ a big group of ppl. It's too much of a hit or miss w/ one on one. So leveling up lighthouse chronologist in a six player game can come in handy.

i had once made a deck like this. it was super fun to play. i just had splashed red in for... fling haha. friends were very surprised when i played a free kraken, octopus, ect and then next turn i attacked with it and then flung it at them for another 8 damage. left them speachless lol.

i think i would -2 lighthouse chronologists and +2 nemisis and then -1 stormtide and + 1 islebackspawn. either you win with beatdown or for an alt win con you could card out possibly.

think you could check my deck out? thanks!
