Deck Description

EDH deck inspired by tajic, blade of the legion. I love this general because first off hes indistructable and second hes extremely scary when hes with creatures. I like this deck alot because theres plenty of things to be scared of, lots of creatures and plainswalkers are a nice distraction while you amass your army. I am really open to suggestions and i perfer it so feel free to comment on the likes and dislikes of this deck and hopefully you have some ideas for me thanks. (also, for some reason i cant add elespeth it glitches )= its lame)

How to Play

amass your army of tokens, and make use of your amazing general while gaining life for all of this. Play those plainswalkers and your enemy wont know what to target first. also, eldrazi conscription should go on your general or ferropede, i mean its kinda obvious but just gonna say it anyways haha.

Deck discussion for tajic, the merciless EDH look

work on your mana base. while basic lands are fine, there are plenty of RW lands out there that make the deck more effective. go check out my Tajic EDH for ideas.

I would agree with NinaStyle on that one the more varied the lands the better. there might be some problems with drawing in the deck maybe get a top? also im almost positive there is a red or white spell that kills all nontoken creatures so that would be nice. Maybe add an insurrection as well in this deck that card would wipe people out pretty fast

I wouldn't use Apocalypse, it would exile Tajic. If you're going to use mass removal, use stuff like Wrath of God.

you cant exile or remove your general from the game in edh

Actually, you can. You can choose to keep it in Exile or put it in the Command zone, but then it will cost 2 more to play. Tajic is immune to almost all removal, so don't use the one that will actually affect him and discard your hand. Use Wrath of God, or Planar Clensing, or Day of Judgement, but not that.

exactly right. apocolypse is proabably the second worst white boardwipe you could use with Tajic as a commander....Terminus being worse.

they are both correct you definitely want wrath of god or day of judgement. especially because it will make swinging with your general much more effective for a few turns

And even if I was wrong, Planar Cleansing would accomplish nearly the same thing for one more mana and you wouldn't lose your hand.

There is also a red board wipe that destroys all lands creatures and artifacts I don't know if that is best for this deck but it wouldn't be terrible seeing as everything is relatively low in mana cost

There are a few of those. Obliterate does that and can't be countered.

yea that's a good point about being able to swing with him when everythings gone thanks, btw haven't tested this out at all yet so its still in the works and always up for suggestions
