Deck Description

Huehuehue, yes Xathrid Necromancer is in the deck- I couldn't help it; there was too much value!

So... sideboard ideas? Better replacements for the mainboard? Better idea for mono white post rotation? Tell me!!!

How to Play

Play your creatures.

Attack in an obnoxious manner because you have Brave the Elements / Frontline Medic in play / Imposing Sovereign locking down stuff.

Play Path of Bravery to buff your guys and keep the life total safe so you don't need to worry about blocking. Unless that's your thing.

Get cool triggers with Archangel from Fiendslayer Paladin and Path of Bravery.

--Sideboard--

-Ratchet Bomb: Hmm, this goes in against token happy decks, replacing Precinct Captain. Targets include Lingering Souls and Advent of the Wurm. I'm not sure how relevant this is post rotation.

-Rest in Peace: This hits Junk Aristocrats (Varolz and Scavenging Ooze), and currently Rites decks and UW flashback decks. Again, relevancy post-rotation is in question, but that's all speculation.

-Celestial Flare: This goes against Hexproof decks, most obviously. It comes up against Travis Woo Izzet Blitz too, if that ever gets seen.

-Renounce the Guilds: This hits a bunch of stuff that will be rotating (Huntmaster, Geist, Olivia, Falkenrath). It is an answer to Obzedat beyond that though.

-Banisher Priest: Hits tokens like a boss, and provides a little extra reach against decks flooding the board.

-Xathrid Necromancer: Extra Supreme Verdict Insurance.

Deck discussion for Mono White (Theros Prep)

Yeah Necromancer is a great card but are you sure it's really worth splashing black if you're only going to have 2 copies?
Why not go all the way and make a white/black weenie
