Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Well, after seeing thopter assembly, i thought I could abuse that card in many cases (: so, here's my attempt. Just imagine, a thopter assembly, hitting the field, only to be bounced next upkeep, giving me 5 1/1 fliers. How sweet? But now, imagine those being boosted with temepered steel and steele overseer. SWEETER! And now, if you will, imagine any artifact creature (preferably etched champion) being made into a 5/5 with tezz's -1? Etched will be swinging for 5/5 (without any boosts at all) unblockable by colors (so long as I have metal craft, which I should). I think this new set is awesome. And can't wait to play this deck. :D

I'd mainly like help with the landbase. and i am debating removing the control elements for just flat out aggro. black and white would do it, but i need blue for tezz. i could just ditch him, but he seems really good.

I would keep the blue for sure, since a Shard mana-base is always more stable than two enemy colors. I also think you don't have enough lands, with your mana curve I would run 24. That said, the SoM and M11 duel lands should definitely be in here. Maybe do: 2 Swamp 4 Island 2 Plains 3 Darckslick Shores 3 Seachrome Coast 3 Drowned Catacombs 3 Glacial Fortress 4 Marsh Flats I would keep the control elements, as artifact creatures are easily killed by spells in control decks. Also, drop the Doom Blade for Go For the Throat.
One other thing: Tezz -1 doesnt work on Etched Champion because of protection.
thanks so much for the landbase help. i figured with the mox opals 22 was enough, but 24 does seem more practical. and in regards to etched, what if I were to target him before he had protection?
If you target him before he has protection, I think it would work really well. But like raggedjoe pointed out, after he has protection doesn't work.
This seems like a pretty good deck. Not too surprising coming from you, really... I just actually built a Ub build that is meant to abuse Tezzeret as much as possible. I'd really appreciate it if you gave it a look and a comment or two. I like some of the ideas you have going here. I totally had forgotten the metalcraft portion of Stoic Rebuttal! Steel Overseer also seems pretty great, as well. I like Thopter Assembly, but to me it seems like it's pretty high-end for this deck. I suppose if you only run 2 it's ok - just something to think about. Also, I personally don't anticipate too many artifact creatures really making a huge impact just yet. Maybe once the third set is released, but as of now, it still seems a bit rogue. Because of that, I think I would maybe try Go for the Throat instead of Doom Blade.

well, truth be told I don't actually own every single card I have posted on these decks. I post these decks online so that people can critique them until they reach a point of approval. Then, once they've attained a certain point of "flawlessness", I go out and buy the cards needed. (: If I want to play the deck with friends before I actually have the cards, I just proxy the few I don't have. (: But I'm glad you like the deck, man!
