So basically, hellrider is nuckin' futs, and what better way to abuse this beat stick than by loading the board up with tokens ready to beat face?
yeah there is none.

Deck discussion for Ummm... hellrider tokens?

The only thing I can think of... Intangible pumps all tokens.
HotP would pump all tokens besides Golem and Pod, but also Splicer Champion, Traveler, and Mentor. If you want more efficiency, I'd go with that.
Besides that, nice. +1

look at it now (: as I was making it, it took a few different numbers to really make it look right, but I think this is a really nice first draft!

Thank you very much for the feedback (:

Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it ! (:
There were a lot of different ways to go about it, but I figured this way was the one most optimal for a) my playstyle b) my meta and c) hell rider just seem to be a total blow out on top of the speed of tokens.

I'm not sure how well this'll work, but here's for the best, lol.

also one of the few decks I've made without a reference list! So far, seems as though nobody's tried this style of tokens.

I don't know why nobody has used Hellrider Tokens yet...it seems like a rather obvious thing almost. Makes me even wonder what a Hellrider Kuldotha kind of design could do...

oh that's been done! :O there were a few list called RW tokens, using kuldotha and what not, but honestly, it seemed a little... weak, per se? Like, yes, kudlotha was great, but that was before timely reinforcements and sword of war and peace... you know? Plus I found they were very much like tempered steel - they either got the nut, or lost.

But I'm very glad you like the deck! And I'd be very interested to see a kuldotha list with hellrider from you!

I made a Hellrider token deck a while back, it isn't standard though. Here:

Yeah losing Bushwacker and Guide...on top of Timely Reinforcements coming out...Current RDW designs have practically no Damage Threshold to speak of =/

@blakroc nice deck man, is it for modern or just casual?

and @swn, yeah, rdw designs now are like... meh, chandra's phoenix kind of delivers some resiliency, but as the game grows late, as does the difficulty to win

I really like this new idea of Helrider tokens, and it seems like you did a pretty decent job. I made a kuldotha/hellrider deck and would love some input from a really experienced player:

Btw, I'm curios why you have included mortarpod. Please explain?

wow i really enjoy this deck mortar pod was definantly the right path to take. may be you could add 1-2 increasing devotion, and possibly a brimstone volly (sideboard) finnally i would suggest dropping the mirran crusaders for hero of bladehold , lastly add 3 dragon skull summits and tragic slips (once again sideboard)

Thank you guys! Sorry I don't respond very often, or check any of your decks, for that matter, but my computer crashed, so I only have my ipod for internet :/

it's a TASK commenting, and even more so making a deck... so sorry guys, but I can't really critique any decks lately :/

it's not that I don't want to help, it's just too tedious. Sorry guys :(

If you are willing to move this deck to legacy, I'd suggest Raid Bombardment (Rise of Eldrazi). I ran a similar deck for a while and it worked wonders.

Might i suggest playing Thalia, Guardien of the Thraben maindeck? by having thalia your opponent falls one turn behind, making it easier to smash face one or two extra turns. may have to take out the pods. and if you do that, put Honor of the Pure in. Also, maybe 2 elspeths instead of the Mentors? Or Gideon, your choice.

i think theres much better than mortapod, and hero of bladehold should be considered for somewhere in here

My suggestion would be instead of splashing black, splash green. Run the same idea as Red/green agro but use the mana bumper engine to fuel your token engine. 4x Bird + 4x avacyn pilgrim with 4x midnight haunting/4x Gather the townsfolk. Then hit your turn 2 midnight haunting turn 3 hellrider for 3given damage + the damage over the top. This also lets you slide in hero of bladehold as an easy replacement and allows you to toy around with Phyrexian metamorph. The other amazing thing it does is allows your mana base to be much more efficient with the setup of the green/red/white duel lands.
