I like to get a hand with a good mix of Island(2~), at least one brineborn, a spectral sailor, and as many instants/counters as you can get. Place down the brineborn ASAP and then annoy the hell out of your opponent by countering spells/creatures/unsummoning on their turn and buffing your brineborn. Then smack.
