When I first saw a Pit Scorpion I just wanted so badly to make a deck based around poison-counters. I'm not very familiar with all the possible card combos, though, so I'm posing my basic idea to see if y'all have any tips! :) The deck name is a reference to the song by Poison. :P

I like to use Viridian Longbow in my poison decks. Any creature that says 'damages' instead of 'attacks and is not blocked,' its an easy way to throw counters on somone.

you could also think about adding some whispersilk cloth or some artifacts and enchantments that give flying like neurok hoversail. Great deck...thumb up!!!
