Deck Description

This deck is meant to be fast, hard, and very awesome! Play wisely.

How to Play

I'm just going to tell you why i put in each of these cards.

Champion of the Parish:
With this 1 mana drop for a +1/+1 it may not be worth it. Especially when you don't have many humans in your deck. But because we have a totally of 23 humans, this card is perfect for our deck. Theoretically, we can pump this card up to +23/+23 by the end of the match if we cast all of our humans, but let's be realistic. On average, i can get this card up to +7/+7 by end game. And for a 1 white mana drop, this card is definitely worth it. This is my 2nd favorite 1 white mana drop. And should be played one turn one.

Legion Loyalist:
If we first look at this card, it's not much. Just a stupid +1/+1 for a 1 mana drop. Not really worth it. But seems how our goal is to trigger battalion, this card needs to be in here. Now you can do 2 things with this card, one: play it on turn one and get an early swing or two: play it for the icing on the cake. I look at this card as more of an instant. A crazy bad ass instant. It gives you haste, first strike, trample, and tokens cannot block this turn. That's one hell of an instant if you ask me. This is something i would play if frontline medic is just not comming out and i really need to strike this turn of a win. This card will let your other cards survive. Most likely, with out frontline medic, this card will die but that's okay because we are using it as an instant. Besides, you have 4 more in the deck.

Boros Elite:
This is my favorite 1 white mana drop ever! It turns into a +3/+3 with battalion and the best part is, no one even tries to really get raid of it. They are more focused on your Champion then this card. That is why i love this card so much. It's underused and no one really cares if it's alive or not. Now the smart people will try to get raid of it right away. But if you was smart. You would put a frontline medic with it as well.

Truefire Paladin:
This card can survive by itself. That is why it's in here. You can pump it up to a +6/+2 easily and you can trigger its first strike. I like to use this card as a defense card. It can take down huge monsters easily. Yes you could use it to attack but you risk it dying.

Daring Skyjek:
Anytime you can turn a card into a flyer, it's going to be great. But we do have a small issue, it's a +3/+1 so it's survival is going to be hard. Now if your opponent doesn't have reach or a flyer this it's amazing, but if they do, then wait until you have a frontline medic. You just don't want this card to go to waste. You swing with a boros elite and a legion loyalist, you can deal as much as 7 damage as early as turn 3.

Wojek Halberdiers:
I honestly hate this card, I don't know why, maybe it's because of the art work. But for a 2 mana drop for a +3/+2 and first strike, this card can survive as well. That's why it's in this deck.

Boros Reckoner:
This is another defensive card that i like to play but most of the time, i pair him up with a frontline medic and just start swinging, it can sometimes force the player to block boros which means you can easily put that damage to another creature or player.

Frontline Medic:
This card is the soul of your deck. This card must not die! You need to ensure that this card is played correctly! Do you not play it unless you are ready to attack next turn! DO NOT LET FRONTLINE MEDIC DIE!!!!!!! It's battalion makes your cards indestructible...that's all...nothing too big...

Spark Trooper:
Spark saved my life 2 times. So far...people get scared of this card when they see sacrifice Spark Trooper but don't look at it as a creature. Look at is as another crazy instant...but better. This instant can attack your opponents cards and still strike him. No matter what, you gain 6 life! an no matter what, your opponent will either loose a creature, loose life, or possibly do both. This card is a great card. One of my favorites.

Tajic, Blade of Legion:
Indestructible. +6/+6 What more do you want me to say?

Boros Charm:
This card gives you options. It's very adoptable. Be smart with this card though. Most people will just dish out the 4 damage and be done with it. I however like to give my cards double strike. Because a lot of the time, giving them double strike will do more damage then the 4 damage.

Searing spear:
Use this to destroy creatures. Simple as that.

Well i hope you enjoyed learning more about this deck. Have suggestions? Let me know! Thanks!

Deck discussion for 3...6...12...KABOOM!

you should run blasphemous acts. A friend of mine runs a Boros deck and with the medics and the reckoners your creatures don't die and you deal 13 X the number of reckoners you have to the enemy. And with all the creatures you have it should only cost 1 red to cast when you need to use it to clear their creatures while yours are invulnerable.

I really do want to put Blashphemous act in this deck but i don't know if i should take something out or just shove it in there. I think it's a good idea but i just don't know what to take out. for it.

I have never been a big fan of the spark trooper its way too easy to kill, my friend uses it and all I need is a 1/1 with first strike to kill it, or any instant that deals 1 damage, then you wasted four mana, lost out on life and damage and now have one less card to play. I realize your deck also revolves heavily on frontline medic, and you say don't let it die. But you have literally no way of keeping it from doing so, its open to everything that all your other creatures are open to. You do however have a nice mana curve, usually I don't recommend this to people but running 4 Tajic might not be a bad idea, or even three. then cut down on spark troopers. My biggest flaw with battalion is that you end up waiting for the right moment to strike, and if you are being agro rushed or your creatures are being burned or countered, you may end up doing a whole lot of waiting for that battalion affect. Most battalion creatures do almost nothing by themselves except Tajic. Any deck that relies heavily on numbers is very open to removal and is devastated by it. I might look into some forms of defense for yourself, maybe Blind Obedience or Oblivion Ring, any defense is better than none. Sorry if I come off rude, not trying to be, just trying to be helpful and honest. Good Luck!

Hmmm...Skyknight Legionnair would be awesome here. Ditch the spark trooper for that. Fliers win games!
