This my first commander deck and i was hoping that all of you could give me some pointers. My commander is Melek, izzet paragon. This deck is mainly based on wizards. If anyone sees this deck please tell others of it so they can put in their point of view. all comments will be read and taking into notice. Thank you for your help.

I think Melek 's theme is better focus on casting spells and then copy x N times. Copy for spell and creatures is the main theme. Creatures beatdown is not IZZET's style. Too less instant and sorcery. In general , Melek's deck will place at least 36 - 40 spells and sorceries.

Agree with counterspell, you need more spell and maybe some mana ramp, spell with X will be dangerous overtime in EDH
should i add my blaze and fireball then if i can find them? and i will add a new version of this deck once it is complete
Sure. I prefer banefire (uncountable), devil's play/ red sun's zenith(can be reused) and Blasphemous Act (for large amount of creatures removal)
