My semi-casual take on a popular deck. A very tempo oriented deck that tries to deny an opponent mana long enough while accumulating enough sorceries in the bin to plant a massive Magnivore on the field. My version, not having unlimited resources, runs some off-beat choices. Izzet Guildmage can be silly; as games go long, and triple hammers are not unheard of.

In my experience, Izzet eats mana like nobody's business. You need some sort of mana acceleration, if only from Mana Flare. Since you don't seem to fear using cards from legacy, I suggest inputting it. Can anyone else help this man with mana accel?
