Deck Description

Uses Trinket and Treasure Mage to fetch any arifacts you would need.
Grand Architect and Semblance Anvil to make the big arifacts easier to cast.

Venser can blink Spine of Ish Sah and Contagion Engine for mass and spot removal. Venser can also make your Wurmcoil unblockable so you can get in for lethal damage easier

Venser can also blink my Mages so I can find more artifacts if i need them.

I think it's a really fun card to use ^^ But I'll put it in the sideboard or something for now, I think I'll put in another Semblance Anvil.

Very cool deck. I think you should have some counterspells, if only to protect yourself. Maybe 4 Spell Pierce/Mana Leak for Kracken Hatchling? I like the idea though. You also have a rather high curve, you might benefit from adding some ramp.

I tried playing with counterspells, but they mainly sat in my hand as I use almost all my mana every turn. I don't think I need more manaramp either, Hatchlings and Owls will turn into fine mana rampers when Grand Architect hits the battlefield.
Maybe I should put in a couple of unsummons, I could use them on my own Mages so I can tutor up more arifacts.

Wow, completely missed the architect. Scrap that then. Maybe Master of Etherium or Etched Champion?

nice deck... not sure about the Kracken Hatchling. Maybe I don't see it but what's he bringing to the game apart from a cheap blocker and being blue for use with the Architect.

i think the deck is standard so pili-pala won't make it

This looks similar to my deck but i dont use white. also its looks like you have way too many counterspells. I run 5 at most and it works great for me. I also maindeck 2 mindslavers to combo with wurmcoil or hellkite. Preordains help a lot too. And mine uses tumble magnets with birds for more control

I reckon add some bonehoards with stoneforge mystic. It would be a good plan B when they target your grand architect and works well with venser's abilities.

Updated now, i have added some more removal and less counters, this makes the deck less vurnable to aggro decks.

a nice 1-mana blue creature is Enclave Cryptologist. Standard-legal, levels up for 2 mana, and then you can start looting cards for extra draws. Might be more useful then Kraken Hatchling, but just a suggestion. I've got a few decklists built around Grand Architect, feel free to take a look!
