Though this deck is primarily green, the key card is Lightmine Field. I was looking for a concept that I could use to incorporate the giant Eldrazi artifact creatures/cards and I think I've found one I like. The idea is to have fairly few bigger creatures on the battlefield rather than large numbers. I use the umbras to power up the smaller creatures so as not to be affected by Lightmine Field and to provide defense. The Jaddi is also for defense plus it has life-gaining which gives the deck some balance. With some testing I'm sure I'll refine this design. I may try to incorporate different big artifacts but I thought these would work well here and they're less expensive than some others.
