Deck Description

a remake of my old black green infect deck, i dropped the green although slightly quicker in favour of red, as i feel the extra burn in the way of volt charge was worth playing red for, and also i like the 1st striking razor swine if the old deck didnt kill you in a few goes it just didnt work this with he extra burn and the 1st striking seems to take a few more blockers off the board and has a bit more longevity whilst still managing to be fast !,

the phyrexin mana and vamires bite still lets me run the instant boosts that made the 1st deck and somany othergreen infect decks so potent, just running mutagenic growth over the giant growth.

i dont run blinkmoths as i try and get 2 swamps early for grasp of darkness and a red for volt charge then shoot and attack away victory i hope.

and i find livewire lash slow now i can proliferte with the volt charges and the grim afflictions. it was a great way to finish someone off before but dont need it now with the built in proliferate in the spells.

nice deck quick toplay but definately too much land i think its a nice balance of quick creatures and spells the creatures are not the biggest so could be blocked by bigger creatures but the spells should take care of that so i think it will work very well

cheers dude i accept with this deck that a few turns in they may have bigger blockers on the board, but as these will cost more to cast they should have less creatures i'll swing with all mine and boost what they dont block for max infect thats how the deck works !, i accept that some of my creatures will die in the process, but those that get through do the damage, the problem with the old deck was that after they got estabished i didnt really get through for the last bit of damage but now with the proliferate abilitys of the volt charge and the grim affliction i can proliferate for the last few points even if they have sufficant blockers.

ref the land balance the creatures are not as quick as u may think given i need to leave mana untapped for my boosts during attack phase, often afte rboosting im short of laying another creature least i feel i would be with less land.
