"We will clear your mind until nothing is left. And we will grow stronger as you keep losing your thoughts." This is a mono-black deck that I put together for an old single-player Magic: The Gathering game. The deck's strategy is to use your specters, The Rack, and other spells to keep your opponent discarding. That paves the way for some 7/7 Nyxathids. The deck also features removal and life drain spells to buy yourself extra time. Again, this deck was made with old cards from sets long past, but it plays casual nicely. It won 9 out of 10 games with the most difficult AI. Of course, the deck's full potential lies much deeper than the basic strategy, but I've found quick wins without having to use cards such as Gargoyle Castle or Volrath's Stronghold. Nevertheless, they are safe mid to late game options. Suggestions or improvements? I'm curious to know how everyone thinks this deck would play in FNM or against other casual decks.
