You know I love the tag system and have been promoting it for alternate uses forever. It's a necessity for my own larger projects.

But I think the trolls on mtgvault have used it to attract new trolls for many years.

Remember the early years where some users put around 50 tags on all of their decks ?
(Look at some of the oldest decks using the decktag: bell)

Well somewhere along the lines, the trolls discovered that your tags are searchable on the web, and some trolls have abused this to a high degree.

One for example have spent most of his time here using the tags pornhub and redtube and while it's fun to look at as an vault user it poses a problem.

What do you think horny adult men do when they are looking for porn and gets redirected to a magic site ?

Some of them, the pedophiliacs think about setting up shop, which is abused by a number of users using names like charles13 or younggun19 (not real usernames)
They probably pretend to be children to lure in the paedophiles to blackmail them.

Other horny men gets disappointed and trolls the site for a while out of anger.

This is the case of many tags used in here, the trolls select tags that ties in on the usual troll environment, using meme words as tags, and trolls in those circles then trolls mtgvault for a while because trolling is a currently hot phenomenon.

As an article writer this puts me in a dilemma.
Trolls from my local area has been repressing my articles in here for years by putting up spam whenever I've wrote something, and there's practically noone left but trolls here in mtgvault.

Becoming aware that the tags can be used to put my articles out there in the big world, bypassing usual spam on mtgvault, well, I sort of want the tags to continue.

On the other hand, knowing that the trolls behind the hack in 2006 are seriously out to crush you, and knowing now that the tags are used by them to attract more trolls to destroy this place, well in that light, I want the tags to be gone, despite having realised that they help me out.

I'd really like to have a serious word with you on all this, which I don't mind will be overheard by the trolls.

My asperger enables me to trace them down constantly, and I'd like to become a mod in here, working free of charge on improving this place.

Most of the tips that you recieve in how to improve mtgvault is tips sent by the trolls to make their sabotage much more easy, and you've been helping them unaware of it for so long.

I know all of their tricks and techniques and how they sabotage you, endlessly.
I'll council you through how to stop them, but I cannot highlight this enough, but you can't trust anyone else but me.

In fact be wary about messages from me in general, because the trolls have collected similar account names for a while, and it's my guess that they might have tried to sabotage communication from me by posing as wickeddarkman on a fake email that looks like mine.
