Fairies, Elf Storm, Vampires, Dragon Stompy, Counter Sliver, Counter Top, ANT... it all depends where i'm playing and what format it is.

Starting out - I hated Blue/Control. Only being because I didn't know the mechanics of it and starting out you usually like Fast/Aggro decks.

Still my least favorite, but only in due time I'll start to like it better. Still working on making a deck for it - should be good since I have 4 available Jace's to put in it.

I hate counter/shutdown, land destruction, and mill decks because they attack your ability to even play the game.

There's only one deck I truly hate, and that's Stax. Mono-W Stax is the devil. 6 Armageddons! Maindeck Trinisphere, Ghostly Prison, and Baneslayer Angel! Wtf

thank you for reminding me, i hate stax too. stax suck!

i hate ppl that whine about deck types....as if one strategy or archetype is any less valid than the others. learn to include varied answers and adapt to the game, THAT is what magic is about.

actually certain decktypes are more powerful than others, that is why there are more of one type of deck than others at tournies.

not arguing about power, arguing about whether certain decks are more or less valid than others.

ie: "I hate counter/shutdown, land destruction, and mill decks because they attack your ability to even play the game."

they don't "attack you ability to play the game" anymore than a super aggro deck that rips through you in 4 turns does.

milling a creature card, countering it, dealing lethal direct damage to the creature, exiling it, killing it in combat, destroying it......it's all more or less the same result, your creature and/or it's potential was neutralized and you may or may not have a way to make it a factor again.


just a pet peave of mine after dealing with ppl that whine because i countered their creature but then giggle when they lightning bolt mine.

oh, i don't hate powerful decks. I hate irritating decks. Sure, ANT bugs me, but that's combo, I deal. Stax is the demoralizer. It hates everybody, including its pilot.

I hate burn decks. It has absolutely nothing to do with winning or losing to them, but how painfully straightforward and boring the decks are. ~20 lands, 4 Lightning Bolts, and 36 cards imitating Lightning Bolt, all intended to do the same task. I can metagame to beat a burn deck, but I can't make the experience interesting.

And the pilot's bank account. $T4KS is like suggesting universal castration as a solution to aids. It will work, but it will also be absurdly expensive and everybody in the world will hate you for it.
