If you change a lands colour, can it produce any type of mana?
Im specifically talking about Painter's Servants ability.
http://magiccards.info/query?q=!Painter's%20servant
"As Painter's Servant enters the battlefield, choose a color.
All cards that aren't on the battlefield, spells, and permanents are the chosen color in addition to their other colors."
I understand that prismatic omen does this, but i wanted to check if Painter's servant will as well.

the land's colour has no impact on the type of mana it will generate, only the land's type matters.

Painter's servant changes a card's color, Prismatic Omen changes a lands basic land types. Lands are colorless.

What Shadowex3 said is pretty important to know and many players don't know it. Lands are always colorless (unless something says otherwise).
Also lands says
Tap: add [Manasymbol] to your manapool
that ability is not tied to the color of the card, it's an ability like any other.
