Deck Challenge - Changing land types

Use and combination of:
Dream Thrush
Sea Snidd
Reef Shaman

To change your lands or an opponent's lands. I'd like to keep this deck mono blue, maybe 1 other color. Possibly throw in some blue cards with domain. Or maybe change your opponent's land types so he can't play any spells.

Have at it!

already done. although I did not use Sea Snidd (dude it's a 3/3 that taps to change a land for 5 mana. no thanks), and substituted Grixis Illusionist. here it is. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=49182

It's pretty basic, nothing really exciting going on. If you wanted to play a Domain deck, just get rid of blue entirely and bring in some Prismatic Omen/Birds of Paradise. I was thinking more of a 'change land control deck', and some Domain spice added in for the offensive power.

I was also thinking about splashing green for Quest for Renewal, which would make this deck viable in a multiplayer setting. Not sure what else green would be good for... any suggestions would help!

I see what you wanted. you were going for aggro. I'm going for land sabotage here. control that's better than counter (because it stops spells for the entire turn). If it were domain then I would have made it differently.

Here's what I was thinking of:

It's a work in progress.. the Shimmering Mirage can probably be taken out, now that I look at it again. I need some sort of heavy hitter or win condition.

Hot damn, I like this deck. Never thought about the concept of making a land control/Merfolk deck. Seasinger especially interests me :D

@Danokozmo, @Irrelevant

Both those decks are pretty good, but don't you see any disadvantages with cards that make lands islands? I would rather have total control over the lands in case I was dealing with a mono-blue or partially blue deck.

Also, this deck needs a way to destroy artifacts that can produce any color mana, such as Darksteel Ingot. I played against my friend's artifact deck the other day and this deck was literally useless. If you find any blue or blue green cards that can quickly and repeatedly get rid of artifacts, post it! Or repost your decks with that card included.
